Lyn Bromley MFIPI
Lyn Bromley has been the Managing Director of First Impressions Training Ltd since September 2010.
She is an experienced people manager, trainer and consultant. Her corporate background spans finance, training, consultancy and project management. She has worked with clients from a whole host of industries including retail, financial services, law, engineering, logistics, hospitality management, gas and oil, manufacturing and telecoms. These clients have ranged in size from SMEs to blue-chip organisations. Prior to moving into the realms of self-employment she was latterly Professional Services Manager for Cognos, (now owned by IBM).
Prior to taking over First Impressions, Lyn worked as a corporate coach and as a key member of the First Impressions Training Team. Her real passion is helping people to maximise their potential by enhancing their professional profile, ensuring that they pay as much attention to their own ‘branding’ and communication skills as they do to their technical skills. Creating a professional and authentic presence is as important as the technical competencies for career and personal development. Lyn has enjoyed assisting clients to maximise their potential in a professional and fun atmosphere. 'Performance Improvement through People Development'.
She is a Master Coach, Master Practitioner of NLP, Master of the Federation of Image Professionals International, Prince 2 Accredited Trainer, DiSC Accredited Trainer and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Lyn is a past finalist for the High Growth Award for The Network of Aspiring Women, winner of the High Growth Category at Women Inspiring Women and a finalist for Network Member of the Year at the Achiever's Academy for Women.
Julia Campion MFIPI
Following an early career in personnel, Julia spent ten exciting years building her private and corporate consultancy business, during which time she became involved with the running of First Impressions in the role of Director of Development. This led to Julia, with her husband Paul, taking over First Impressions Image Consultancy Ltd in 1999 and they had an amazing eleven years developing the business before handing over to Lyn Bromley in 2010. Julia now shares her passion for two key topics with trainees – marketing and wardrobe management, both of which are vital skills for developing a successful image business. She and Paul also ran First Impressions Image Supplies Ltd – supplying learning materials, operational items, visual aids and cosmetics to consultants around the world.
Liz Prest FFIPI
Liz has a background in training with Estee Lauder’s Aramis Division, prior to becoming an image consultant in 1987. She was a founder member of First Impressions’ Business Development Group in 1994 and has trained for First Impressions since the mid nineties, acting as Training Director from 1999 to 2007. She is a Fellow of FIPI and a member of Fashion Group International.
